Dr. Patti May was raised in Post,Texas and took a very unusual route to becoming a doctor. She attended Texas Tech on a voice scholarship, but decided she didn’t want to stay here. Dr. May joined the U.S. Air Force, where she served 12 years as a Russian cryptologic linguist.
After retiring from active duty, Dr. May earned her undergraduate degree in biology from the University of Texas at San Antonio. She also earned a degree in Medical Technology from University of Texas Health Sciences Center San Antonio. Dr. May later earned an MBA in Health Organization Management at Texas Tech. She was working in the ER at the hospital in Lamesa, where she was inspired to go to medical school. She graduated with her medical degree in 2003.
Dr. May was one of the first doctors hired to work at Grace Clinic®. She is board certified in Family Medicine and enjoys having an opportunity to take care of your entire family. In addition to family practice, Dr. May also offers non-invasive treatments for the skin, including laser hair removal, Botox and collagen fills, and microdermabrasion and chemical peels.
