Vrinda Devani, MD is a board-certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist that has been passionate about the wellbeing of women since her grade-school days, when she did her senior mentorship with an Obstetrician and Gynecologist. While she excelled in the sciences throughout high school, college and medical school, she felt that her education was incomplete, desiring to support the wellbeing of women from a more holistic perspective. This desire helped her find Ayurveda, which she studied extensively during her medical training and after. She is now considered an expert in Ayurvedic women’s health, speaking at events, such as the American Herbalist Guild and National Ayurvedic Medical Association.
Dr. Devani has excelled in all of her studies and training at the University of Virginia for undergraduate education, UT Southwestern Medical Center for her medical training, and Baylor University Medical Center for her residency training. She has earned numerous awards, including the Resident Teaching Award, Baylor’s WOW Service Excellence Award and Labor and Delivery Service Excellence Award.
During her short break from medicine, Dr. Devani and her husband moved to Lubbock. During this time, she focused on research and writing, served and continues to serve as a board member of a non-profit for maternal mental health, and gave birth to her daughter and took time to be with her. She is thrilled to return to clinical medicine and work with patients towards vibrant health and living.
