In 2009, Grace Health System expanded its operations with the acquisition of the 123-bed Doctor’s Hospital (formerly known as Highland Hospital) at 50th and University, renaming it Grace Medical Center. With the new addition, Grace transformed into an innovative two-campus health facility, conveniently located for easy access to serve the healthcare needs of our patients.
- The Future of Grace
The growth of Grace doesn’t end there. Since 2012, we have upgraded the in-house Pharmacy, opened a new cardiac imaging center, and added 15 new doctors’ offices on the second floor. We are also changing the region’s medical landscape with plans to open a new 350,000 square-foot hospital. In addition, we are planning for the future of medicine with the launch of a new telemedicine program to reach chronically ill patients in rural communities in Texas and New Mexico.
